Who is Lauren Andresen?
Hi, I'm Lauren Andresen. I am a Los Angeles, California native, quite a rarity it seems. I have spent practically my whole life in L.A. and the surrounding areas.
I found a love for performing at an early age through ballet and the occasional school play. For nine years I studied ballet, with jazz, lyrical, character, and variation classes mixed in, under the direction of Westside Academy of Ballet and other local and national dance companies. During those nine years I performed in yearly productions of "The Nutcracker" and various other performances such as "Cinderella" and "Swan Lake". Coming from a family of avid tennis players, I became a member of my high school varsity tennis team.
Soon after completing school I left California for a brief period of time to live in Seattle, Washington. This is where I decided to give film and TV acting a try for the first time. Instantly I fell in love with acting and spent the next year taking acting classes and working as an actress in Seattle.
Now I'm back in Los Angeles in pursuit of an acting career. Since returning to L.A. I have been taking acting classes with Courtney Burr at the Margie Haber Studios and workshops with casting directors/associates.
